Notes
First repress in the original matte die-cut gatefold cover on Vertigo 'spaceship' labels.
This album has a 'Unipak'-style gatefold cover [disc access from the inside] with only one card layer for the front lap.
Poly-lined standard inner sleeve; some copies with leftover poly-lined Vertigo 'swirl' inner sleeve.
Misprint: The order of parts 1-3 of track A4 incorrectly printed inside gatefold as follows:
Part 1. Virgin And The Hunter
Part 2. My Lady Of The Night
Part 3. Coitus Interruptus
The correct order appears on the label.
There is a version without the misprint here: Framed.
On the cover the producer credit goes to The Alex Harvey Band, on the labels to Alex Harvey only.
In contrast to the original ‘swirl’ release, the song writing credits are now listed on the labels. The writing credit for A1 is incorrectly given for Ritchie Valens; this was corrected on later issues to Leiber & Stoller.
℗ 1972: A1, A4, B1 to B5
℗ 1969: A2, A3

Fabulous album.
Incredible pressing. Detail.... and dynamics that made me jump bolt upright on several occasions.
Grab a copy at a bargain price.
Played on Linn LP12/Ekos/Ortofon Windfeld ti. -

This is a second UK press, which uses the same stampers as the more rare first pressing with the famed Vertigo "swirl" labels. So if you only care about sound, you can just get this and save yourself some money (to buy more LPs, of course...) Great pressing quality as well as audio quality. And not to mention a kick ass album that unfortunately, nowadays is overlooked. Easy to see why. "Next" is a phenomenal album, and the over the top bombast of "The Impossible Dream" and "Tomorrow Belongs To Me" were hard to beat. But "Framed" definitely deserves to garner further listening.
