Reviews

Sold my original years ago but I a pretty compressed mix. Not an issue with this release. Only problem is some vocal distortion on Basement. Last song on side A but sounds like a mastering defect. Hits out of the blue and repeats. Must be unique to my pressing because someone else would have noticed this over all these years.

Excellent sound and pressing quality, highly recommended especially since it can be had for 20 bucks or less.

Edited 4 years agoMy copy sounds really good and just like the 1976 original, nothing added and nothing taken away. I'd rather have this pressing than the remaster which is bass heavy. I seem to have a USA pressing in EU packaging. Runouts are definitely as the US version but no "Printed in The USA" on the sleeve. Inner sleeve states "MANUFACTURED IN THE EU"

So I guess this is the only reissue they got right in 2011? This as well as Leave Home and Rocket to Russia were both cut the same way and pressed by Rainbo, but they don’t seem to have the praise this pressing gets.
-
Man I can't imagine this album sounding better than this AAA cut by Chris Bellman.
This is the copy to own -
Pressed on 180-gram vinyl with all original replica packaging, including printed inner sleeves. Lacquers cut from the original analog masters by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering
