100% Acidiferous – Tank / 303 State

the very first release on 100% Acidiferous - apparently a label solely dedicated to the output of Fernando Sanchez and Patrick Vuillaume, also known as 303 nation.
"tank" is a cult classic by now - a hypnotic acidcore track enforced by what seems to be a splintered, broken arpeggio.
303 state invokes 808 state, but not exactly in the sound of 808 state: another acid smasher

People are really just a sheep - some nanny play this completely available tune, and ppl just pump the price even tho there are sh1tloads of records readily available.

I guess Nina bought this for the cover and luckily found an acid hardcore beast :P

Nina Kraviz is starting to drop this quite regularly in her sets, hence why the price has rocked just like the mind drum - advanced vector and dj randy - deception, it seems that as soon as Nina drops a classic from yesteryear that this gives all sellers a green light to ask what price they like for it, (im just glad i bought all these tracks first time around!)
I wouldnt say this is rare and i wouldnt say its worth £20+ its decent but you do soon get bored of it, saying that tank is easily 100% acidferous's best track so if your gonna buy one of their track make sures it this, that comment probably refelcts the price! plays from beltram and lenny dee aswell so if their playing it it must have "some" miles in it!

For some magical circunstances, i knew the track "tank" in a brazilian bootleg compilation of house and euro house tracks, during the "golden age" era of electronic music, around 93-94. I always asked me who compiled this. Tank It's the type of song you will don't forget so easy. The slowness of the beginning, the crescendo and the apotheotic ending it's incredibly constructed. It's not a song to dance, i'm listen while running ;). Last, but not least: Don't listen while driving. The consequences could be disastrous.

303 state!!! and only 303 state ^^ yes tank is well known, but 303 state grabs the minimal acid techno soul ;D

This release is one of the very best acid releases of all time. It drives over '88 Acid with a tank. Who is for a long time into acid knows it since 93.

Definately P-style, 'Tank' is dark and sinister, while '303 State' is true acid-core. Great release!
