This is an amazing reissue. The sleeve and poster are very high quality and the green vinyl looks great. Most importantly this sounds fantastic, it’s one of the best sounding records in my collection.

I wish a could say wonderful things like anyone else, but in my setup I noticed a lot of distortion and noise on the songs that get close to the runout like "green man" "cinnamon girl" and the end of "haunted". I compered it extensively with the Flac files I have from the CD using a UAD audio interface and to me the CD sounds clearer and cleaner, with no distortion, the hi-hats are much cleaner and the bass is more powerful. Maybe my setup is not good enough (Rega Planar 2 with a cheap phono preamp and a pair of Yamaha HS-8), because I have noticed the same kind of issue with the "Bloody kisses Suspended in Dusk", but didn't have the same issue in old music like Dire Straits Money For Nothing. Sorry, I am a vinyl lover but to me CD sounded better

Like the previous pressings of this album, absolutely stellar. Flat and quiet press. Dynamics and separation are fantastic. Absolutely worth picking up if you haven’t already and don’t have to break the bank. Play it loud.

Did anyone else get a “slow deep and hard” poster in the first jacket? Feels like it was a mistake or it’s promotional
-
This almost a perfect pressing. Picked it up at my local record store still sitting there a month after its October release for $35. As everyone mentioned the sound quality is absolutely amazing. My only complaint is the poster. This release needed the lyric sheet. How it wasn’t included and a really lame poster was included is beyond me. The original cd release has Peter’s lyrics. This feel slightly cheap without them.

Sweet fancy Moses this pressing sounds amazing!
The vinyl itself is dead quiet but the music is rich and clear and bright and full! Absolutely one of the best sounding records in my collection.
Top that off with a free poster and proper inner sleeves and I could not be happier with this purchase. -

Edited 7 months agoCan't say anymore than others have said, this pressing is flawless! Low frequencies kicks your soul out of your body and high frequencies are crisp as hell.
