Edited 19 years agoNever have Neubauten's lyrics reached the same high level as on their first record "Kollaps". They could have been also released as poems without music. Expressively they speak of the anger, fatalism and loneliness people feel in their urban Lebensräumen. On the second record, "Zeichnungen des Patienten...", the lyrics already start to sound meaningless and uninsprired.
