Edited one year agoI thought it was worth it as I only payed the d price of 9000¥ (If your a tourist you can get your tax back on the spot 900¥) around $60 bucks from Tower Records Shibuya while on vacation, will place with my other assorted DSOTM vinyls..
Great presentation as you would expect.
Japanese insert, Obi, poster and back slip for Japanese authenticity…. Unfortunately It’s actually pressed in the Netherlands as stated on the label and I think it’s the same as the North American copy’s as it has a New York address under the back Japanese slip.
Q is it Japanese? In my own opinion I believe the product must be pressed and packed in Japan to be called Japanese. this is only my opinion, others opinions may differ.
My go to for listening DSOTM are for vinyl MFSL pressed in Japan played on a Rega P6 and for CD is the SACD release for 2023 Japanese played on a Denon.
Whatever there is no doubt this is one of the greatest albums of all time whatever format. -
Does anyone who has this have any comments on the sound quality or any other aspect of the release? I am trying to figure out if this is just gimmicky or if it is actually worthwhile as an AUDIO product. Thanks!
