Edited 7 months agoI love this cassette, but I disagree about the sound quality. It sounds ¨alright¨ but it definitely sounds like it is a few years older. Sadly no Dolby NR recording either.
Well atleast enjoy having it and popping it in once I feel like it. -
I just listened to this album as a curiosity. Taylor Swift isn't usually an artist I pay attention to, but I have to say: I really enjoyed the mostly downbeat, emotionally honest, synth-pop sound of this album. Songs like "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys", "So Long, London", and "Who's Afraid Of Little Old Me" display a more mature, somewhat uncomfortably honest, Taylor who is grappling with the reality of being a thirty-something and a celebrity while searching for the love and companionship everyone desires. These songs stand out among the few, less interesting, more upbeat and dance-y pop numbers like "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart". For the development of her sound into electro-synth emo-girl alt-pop and her endearingly honest lyrics: four out of five stars. 4/5 ****
