These are very short tracks but he gets a lot of interesting sounds out of them! I think this would be a good intro album release to recommend for those unfamiliar with him. If they can't "get into" these short tracks they'll never be able to appreciate his more recent stuff (Synopsis Seriation is a bit over 2 hours in length!!! -_- ) lol

What to think of these micro-tracks that make up Hecker's PV TRECKS? Well, for one, taken together, the tracks build to a creepy, post-industrial soundscape, where all the machines are broken, but continue to whir anyway. The pieces move from more rhythmic pieces to pure tonal experiments that can sometimes challenge your endurance of high frequencies. Little burps of noise punctuate the flow of the longer atmospheric drawls and moments of silence, keeping your ears on edge. It's a challenging listen, though I'm not sure if it's meant to add up to something more than it is.
