Cleo Sol – Gold

Just common sense working: If I used a very hard cardboard sleeve is because I wanted to protect the product, right? So why did they use the unexplainable tight (I had to cut it to release the vinyl) and less than ordinary inner sleeve to "protect" the vinyl? Lack of thinking there.
For the rest, great album, sounds great too.

Just got the repress today - on first listen the best sounding Cleo Sol album to date - lovely deep bass and well rounded sound - Cleo is the balm for our confused times

Repress on HHV this month 01/25 words words words words

Hoping for a repress . . . This is amazing.

I ordered this (along with "Heaven") back in January from the German record store HHV. Every month, they send me a new email saying the release date has been pushed back. I see that copies are available here and elsewhere on the internet, so at this point (August 2024) I don't know what to think. Does anyone know what's the deal? Am I waiting for a repress? Or do some retailers have different access than others? Really just trying to get them on the turntable before the end of the year :/

Hi I have a copy with a barcode sticker with the info on it: X0045UJDHX, Gold, NEW.
I didn't remove the foil yet ...but has anyone any clue if this is the black or the golden vinyl ??

btw.....it also has no tracking list on the back of the cover.

This album (Gold) and Heaven are both lovely albums, beautifully pressed and silent with little to no surface noise which is vital for music like this, surface noise would ruin them completely. My only gripe is with the covers, made from card so thick and tight it's a struggle every time to get the record back into the sleeve and the sleeves are made overly large, I don't have a single poly sleeve that either of them will fit into which is just kind of annoying. They are overpriced for what you get but as I say, the music and the pressings are wonderful and it's the music that really matters.

Any information about repress? It will be great, thanks in advance!!

Its shame the pricing is so high on these (same with all Sault release). I still did pick it up but at 60$ cad for a single LP...

Very low pressing on my copy. It is the second pressing (I think) - no sleeve notes or track listing. No card. But the music is wonderful (if very quiet)
