I bought this record from Recommended Records way back in the day. It is a French original and came with a large double sided glossy insert with photos and story of Pulsar. Don't see any mention of this insert anywhere in Notes or copies for sale. I'll try to it here on Discogs.

A mellotron-and-moog laden slice of dreamy French prog, Pulsar's third album following 'Pollen' and 'Strands Of The Future' is also their finest. The story behind the album is also intriguing.
After two fairly successful LP's, the group were given a bigger budget and plenty of time to work on 'Halloween', and the extra time sure paid off.
However, much to the group's disappointment, by the time the album was finished, the group's label, the French arm of CBS, had undertaken a drastic change of management and an even more drastic change of musical direction.
This meant Pulsar, and progressive rock in general, were no longer a priority (thanks, punk) and 'Halloween' was released with little fanfare and even less promotion.
Despite the lack of label and disappointing initial sales, the quality of the album has shone through the decades, and it is now rightfully considered a masterpiece of European prog, with Goldmine magazine actually rating it the single greatest progressive rock album of all-time.
Let's be serious, it's not the greatest of all time, no way Jose, but it's still a damn fine record, and one of the sparkling jewels of the 1970's French prog scene.
So, fans of Pink Floyd, Ange, Genesis, Sebastian Hardie and Camel, you guys should be in for a real treat.
