Edited one year agofound one of the last 2 copies they had in store when i went to rough trade today. was extremely difficult to get the record out of the inner sleeve, but it plays beautifully, thankfully. love a good milky clear pressing

This release page says the Milky Clear vinyl is limited to 2500 in the US and 2497 in the UK, but it is also available from this Rough Trade store and has no mention of it being a limited release: https://www.roughtrade.com/en-de/product/caroline-polachek/desire-i-want-to-turn-into-you-3
Does anyone know truly how many pressings of this variant were made? -
Edited one year agoBesides waiting almost a year for this preorder AND that removing the vinyl from the paper sleeve was one of the most intense challenges of my life, it sounds close to perfect. Just as good as the RT Pang olive green release. This is what vinyl should sound like. Great album as well, I do feel like she is one of the best pop artists out today. Don’t miss her live show either.

I just left a review on the Big Love Records variant (fog translucent).
Okay, so this is by far the perfect pressing among the variants that I own (still waiting for the metallic copper and tiger's eye variant to be delivered). When I say perfect, there's only a minimal and light pops throughout the album. Also on "I Believe" and "Hopedrunk Everasking" tracks, it doesn't have a single pop on it! -
I had the hardest time getting the record out of the inner sleeve. So much static that it was practically stuck. HOWEVER, the milky clear color is beautiful, and it sounded and played really well. I’m very happy with this variant.

After a year of waiting... The inner sleeve is probably the worst I've ever seen lol and the colour was wrong bffr

Just arrived this morning - finally!
I ordered this Clear LP Rough Trade edition which should be PNR05RT, but the spine just shows PNR05, i.e an entirely different edition. Yet the barcode on the shrinkwrap shows 197187546428, which is correct for this Clear edition. I'm a bit reluctant to open up the shrinkwrap if it's wrong, so can anyone confirm that their edition is the same catalogue number but is indeed the Clear vinyl? Cheers.
