The booklet inclusion is great, but unfortunately the vinyl itself is poor quality. The first I received was so warped it was unplayable. Thankfully Solid State shipped me a new one free of charge. The second is still wavy, which causes some muffling to the sound and slight warbling. It seems to be a consequence of the light weight, flimsy vinyl. The two I weighed were 124 and 131 grams. A standard record is 140g, so it seems like they cut some corners on this release and it affects the quality. The A side is warped up from the edges to the point where I can barely brush the record of dust because any amount of force placed on it caused it to sit in place while the platter keeps spinning. There is so little friction on the record. Unfortunate for such a good album. -
Looks and sounds fantastic, but the biggest selling point here is the massive booklet inside, featuring an extended Ryan Clark essay on the roots of the band that includes a ton of information I wasn't aware of. Must buy for Demon Hunter fans.
