This is a rare example that sometimes a cd sounds better than the vinyl. Of these 30th anniversary boxes I prefer the cd version soundwise. I just wish they’d put the extra tracks from cds 1 and 5 into disc number 6. One extra cd wouldn’t have added a shit to the production costs. Also a blu ray of live show would have been nice at this price.

The remaster is comparable to the 20th Anniversary Edition and sounds decent enough, although I still prefer the 2013 remix. The packaging for this is so wasteful though. Yeah, the box looks great and all but who cares about all these stupid trinkets that raise the price up. A simple book-sized clamshell with the discs would have been fine and cost a third of much.

This is more of a comment about the music itself and not the packaging, but the AI track splitting on the live section is pretty obvious.
