Stunning - perfect for this mix of drums guitar & vocals.

A must have for any true White Stripes fan. Vocals are dialed back some, but the mix sounds fantastic overall, especially played with a mono cart. Unlike any other press I've heard. I think the UHQR is the ultimate press of this album, but the mono mix is not far behind.

Shame about the distortion on You've Got Her In Your Pocket, but otherwise I really liked the different mix for this album.

Happy to have this copy. Used the trick from one of the commenters below, and found that it helped with distortion and vocals, but ideally, play this one with a mono cart

This one will hopefully and definitely hold its collectible value being it’s elephant from the vault. I may get a lot of troll criticism from my comment but whatever I guess lol.

The vocals are totally buried in this mix, not loving it. Was hoping for something sharp and alive, didn't get it.

I ran my mono copy off my Sumile mono cart through the full Shindo pre-amp and amp system, and Devore O/96s. And it was fantastic. Quiet, deep separation, clear, vibrant tone, balanced and of course slightly different than how you are used to it (in stereo) so a lot of fun. Rip a fat j, play loud all analogue, contemplate the dharma, you almost become Buddha.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this sounds pretty good. Pressed well, flat, no surface noise.

Mine came with an extra certificate / leaflet and 7".

Man I don’t know for the ones that aren’t happy with their copies, so sorry for you guys, but mine is outstanding, beautiful pressing, amazing separation and balance, the pressing is loud, vibrant and full of life!!! 5⭐️ for this one TMR

Shoutout and a thank you to FXL - currently spinning the record with the dual Y cable hack. It’s fixed the sibilance issue on Pocket and It’s True, and rounded out the already-excellent sound on everything else very nicely.

Record fully salvaged. Cool when you learn something new on the internet huh?
