Edited 18 years agoStill one of the alltime best techno releases. It's difficult to classify this simply as "techno" as it's too diverse. Very forward-thinking and continues to stand the test of time. "Dark & Long" quite possibly has the most catch to all of the tracks and I still am pleased they put it first. The journey this disc takes you on is quite expansive, and that is saying a lot for techno, which generally doesn't have that same epic flow to it across an album as styles like ambient, old trance, etc. I could do without the final track "M.E.", but it's easy to just stop the disc beforehand, with the fantastic "River Of Bass", a spliff classic :) A true 5/5 and hope more comments come to follow!
