What a fun album this is. I did not appreciate this years ago when I was younger as I do now! Love when albums age better! This album is really good in my opinion. Not boring, has plenty of fun and juicy riffing. The highlight songs of this album for me are actually quite a lot; These Shores are Damned, Canadian Metal, The Church of Real Metal, The Banners of Old (my personal favorite with a super beautiful bridge section), title track, Splitkein Fever, and Raised on Rock. Oh my! I named almost every song on the album! Must mean I like this one a lot, and way more than I used to! Other two tracks are good as well, not complaining! This is a badass, fun time of an album that I recommend anyone who love metal, punk, or both to check out. Gotta love the lyrics too. “Listen to Venom’s Acid Queen.” Yes and yes. Album for people who live and breathe metal. And you know the exact metal I am talking about if you like this album too. Pick it up!
