Brings back so many memories. Beautiful vinyl. Very special. It would be even more fitting if someone pressed a vinyl of all the original music discs, because they're vinyl in Minecraft. I wonder if such a vinyl exists

Edited 11 months agoUnless you hear the vinyl before buying, I do not recommend buying this one - especially for how expensive it is! My copy has tons of crackles and pops, even after a wet cleaning. Appears from the reviews this pressing is hit or miss. One of my more regrettable purchases. Wish it sounded a lot better.
-
Could really use a 2LP pressing but even on one disc it looks like a lot more music could be fit on the disc so I don’t see why so much was left out.
-
Its fine after you clean it. The sleeve is extremely low quality, and the sound quality noticeably deteriorates after a pawful of plays. definitely could have been a better repress, but its still a nice addition.
-
Edited 8 months agonoisier than id like and random tracks omitted for basically no reason. This could have easily been a 2LP and fit all the music. Ghostly int. has dropped the ball on a lot of pressings including this one to a degree. It works but definitely leaves stuff to be desired. Color is fantastic and I got a big blob which is cool.

Edited 3 months agoI felt a bit indifferent with my copy. I bought it knowing all the negatives I’ve heard about every version, hoping that I would win the lottery by magically getting a good copy. The first track on both sides has a short static sound with each rotation which I believe is caused by some very visible warping, something which I've heard is pretty common with this pressing for some reason. The rest sounds perfectly serviceable and had very few pops and crackles with some minor hiss throughout. Handle this with care.

A few crackles and pops on both side A & B first tracks but still very listenable. Very happy to have this is in my collection.
-
really happy to have this since it seems it's hard to find, but my copy is unfortunately slightly bowl shaped. however, playback is basically SILENT which seems unusual since other reviews mention pops and static.
-
They could’ve easily done the full soundtrack as a 2LP, even as one disc it looks like there’s room for a couple more tracks. A shame we haven’t gotten the complete soundtrack yet but still glad to see it on vinyl!
