No complaints about the audio and book, but the quality control on the packaging of my copy isn't great. The outer box printed artwork isn't fixed to the card box very well, leaving very obvious, large and numerous visible air bubbles under the surface. The cds are also in very flimsy card sleeves, one with a corner bent fresh from the box. Compared to the other box sets this feels cheaply made.. Bit disappointing... this is The Beatles so should be a product. On reflection it feels like these sets have gotten less and less impressive with each release after the very wonderful White Album Box. Shame.

Why are we still getting ear-bleeding DR7 CDs in 2022???? Haven't we been through this before. The Petty Fillmore set has the CDs mastered properly. Here, unfortunately not a care in the world. Why not make the disc sound as great as it can. This is maddeningly perplexing. Why?????????????????????????????????????????????????

Denoting sessions discs as cd 2 and 3 above, the following tracks are in mono (some obvious as RM indicated, others not): 2-02, 2-04, 2-06, 2-07, 2-09, 3-03, 3-04, 3-05, 3-06, 3-10, 3-11, 3-16. Also note that the pre-chat in 3-14 is in stereo whereas the song is in mono.

Excellent Deluxe Boxed set....The new Stereo mix trounces the original Stereo mix IMO.
Nice to have the Mono mix on cd, but I never saw the benefit of mono mixes really.
The Outtakes are very interesting. Of course, a few of these were on the "Anthology" series back in the 90's, but many are unique to this set.
The book is fantastic, and of high quality.... -

No complaints with the contents of the set. Gripe all you want about what SHOULD have been included, but the contents are amazing. Sounds great, good quality packaging and the book is stellar.
Don't like what's not included? Don't like the price. Cool. Stream away.

On the CD deluxe was certainly a lil disappointed they did not include a quad mixed blu ray like previous sets.
