This is actually one of her lesser cassettes. There is a lot of sibilance on Maroon and the highs are a bit on the weak side, something that's not the case on her other releases. Maybe I just have a bad copy. It isn't terrible but not up to the other releases

I personally love the colour of the cassette and as the other review said, there are loads of great pictures stacked on the card. I think it's an aesthetically great cassette. For Taylor, I will agree it isn't her best quality release, however, I think as with many modern releases, there will be some hiss in the background. I don't mind it at all, in fact, it's the reason I prefer cassettes. If you want impeccable sound quality, it's not for you, but if you enjoy the added texture and nostalgia that cassettes bring, this is a great album to own on cassette.

Currently playing on my Sony TC-KE500S deck. Definitely some noticeable tape hiss (it’s a type 1 tape with no Dolby noise reduction after all), but it’s still quite listenable.
If you’re looking for a lot of punch to the music, buy the record, or better yet, buy the CD. If you just looking for the novelty of owning modern music on cassette, then this tape delivers nicely.
My favorite thing about this cassette the amount of pictures they stuffed into the J-card. I’m used to cassette from the 80’s and 90’s having intricate J-cards that fold out to reveal more photos (and sometimes lyrics), but I’ve been disappointed to find a lot of my modern cassettes have rather basic J-cards.
This cassette on the other hand, offers just as many photos as the CD and vinyl editions do. I was expecting it to have less photos, but alas, they are all here. -
Bought it new directly from Universal Music in .
Cheap unevenly colored cassette, type 1 tape, no Dolby.
Sounds really bad.
