Edited 2 years agojust found a copy of this pressing at a local shop in a very strong EX condition on the vinyl (jacket has some bending/curling to the top half from poor storage; maybe somewhat moisture amplified). WOW! this pressing sounds phenomenai!! sound is tight and powerful, and Geddy's voice sounds crystal clear above it all. my current receiver is extremely midrange heavy with very little in the way of low end (Kenwood KR-5600), but, even on that, the drums pack a serious wallop and fiercely drive the woofers on my speakers with almost no effort.
if youre looking for a great sounding pressing of this LP without having to pay a ton of money for a top condition copy, grab this pressing right here. highly recommended.
5 stars on the pressing, 4 stars for the musical content. -
Essential to your Rush collection. If you are a casual fan that doesn't need Rush's entire catalog this would be one of two to own with the other being Moving Pictures.
