Virtual Experience and Rage, goddamn what can I say other than this has gotta be Atilla and Alex’s most famed single…. jocks still rinsin’ it today and just as effective as back then no doubt. Virtual Experience is the one we all talk about, big 303’s just dominatin’ the whole track and it builds and builds the whole time… but 4 me it’s RAGE that makes this single really worth it. Cocooma doesn’t hold back here – the track gets started right away and doesn’t quit. Rage is def harder than Virtual Experience and not quite as much acid but don’t let that fool you it’s completely euphoric. The melo is outta the world plus there’s the Frankie Goes To Hollywood vocal sample “we’re RATS in a CAGE suicide a go go… RAGE!!!” fkn sick mate nuff said.

Oh and I can’t forget the tempo gets tweaked during a second break before coming back down and letting a massive acid line fly. There’s also a second trip you’d wanna let play out not much diff than the first except the lead’s more phased down to close the tune out.

What a tune! In my opinion the best EDM release ever, virtual experience hits all the right notes. Cocooma produced some great classics over the 95-97 period but this is definately one of the best releases! Any EDM collector who does not have a copy of this track, is missing out!

The b side "Rage" is on a harder tip, kicking out a thumping kick and great use of the 303.

This particular EP was remixed and re-released on the Yellow Base remix EP but neither remix are as good as the originals.

Anyone who knows Pagemaster, 4-Ward Evolution and the Escape, trust me if you dont know virtual experience, youre missing out big time!
