Beautiful album. Beautiful pressing. No issues whatsoever.
No wonder this is considered one of the best albums of all time - it IS THAT GOOD! The emotion, the musicianship, the mixing, the lyricism, the creative direction...
The pressing had little-to-none surface noise, only barely noticeable on the quieter parts. The packaging was really nice, loved the artwork and the inside of the gatefold was definitely a suprise - and bonus points for the the little easter eggs: i.e.
Actual lyrics - "Wake from your sleep"
On the gatefold - "Wake from your dreams"
Really, really nice record. One of the best in my collection. -
Edited one month agoI.M.O. one of Radioheads best LP`s all round for sound and music, great lyrics volcas on point and band
musicianship.
My copy is perfect, glass flat, noise free and well centered on the spindle, full dynamics with detail and ambiance.
Highly recommended - Five Stars*****

Well, I got an early UK pressing (NODATA), I can compare it, and I have to say it is a absolute fine reissue. Quality gatefold, nice, really quite pressing, no sibilance, good soundstage, nice separation, U can’t go wrong with this pressing. I got it for 25 EUR, worth every penny, it was nowadays fair price.

Radiohead's later albums are (almost) all incredible, but they are all downhill from here. Wish i knew which side was which as it isnt labeled on any of the records :/

On the labels there is written a lot of shit bit not a tracklist and MORE important which side it is, yes even other records have this problems but for me it is a jerky-solution!

Very decent copy. Good separation. Can hear layerings. Optimal is always either a hit or a miss. This is fortunately for me a hit. Sound dynamics not as good as the 45rpm In Rainbows but it’s still good. I am happy with the purchase.

Edited 2 years agoExpectations were high, but this recording is pretty flat with poor dynamics. The drums are super squashed. I'm hoping it will grow on me, but right now The Bends is sounding better and more dynamic.

A perfect pressing front to back. Flat, no ticks, pops or anything, wide soundstage, great bass, high volume, great dynamics.
