    What garbage. you know what they say? don't judge a book by the cover? Well you can judge the quality of this by the cover - that isn't even the correct Queen logo... Inside? Even worse. This was a shrink wrapped mint version but record 1 with a huge pressing defect on A1 made it unlistenable. Record 2 dished beyond imagination. Unlistenable on B side (the convex side)... I gave up after that. How could a band like Queen let licensees get away with such crap? you would never see anything less that perfect on a Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin repress. If they can control quality, why can't the Queen estate?

          Sound quality is not as good as I expected. It didn't feel like listening to a good analog recording (possibly half speed-digitally remastered, ). The difference in quality between tracks and records is obvious. The sound quality of some tracks is satisfactory, while others are very poor.

          Despite all this, it is a box set that Queen fans should add to their archives.

              Has anyone noticed distortion in the last bars of the song Who Want To Live Forever (F4)? In the rest of the sides, I haven´t noticed any incidence, it sounds very good. I am using a Revox B790 Linatrack with an ELAC ESG-796 capsule.

                  Received mine from Amazon UK, all records cleaned using Pro-ject VC-E prior to playing and sleeved in Mofi’s. Playing on the Rega P6 + Ania-Pro cart, my findings :

                  record 1, sounds good and clean.
                  record 2, C4 noisy on vocals only.
                  record 3, F4 noisy only.
                  record 4
                  record 5
                  record 6
