The voice sample in Trés Chic seams to come from https://discogs.librosgratis.biz/release/108581-Datura-Devotion.

Tres Chic uncredited ripoff of Sourmash - Pilgramage to Paradise? It's very nice indeed but...

I actually think Tres Chic is the weakest track on the record. AB-Chic is easily my favourite, a very well thought out, emotional, timeless acid monster that just builds and builds, you just never tire of those strings. Time Chic would be next, more in-your-face and peak time oriented, but just enough class to keep it relevant. Whereas Tres Chic sounds old and the breakdown is borderline cheesy, for me it's one to stay in the past. Whereas the other two I'd happily drop this weekend.

Everybody typically raves about Tres and Time Chic, and those tracks are indeed hard trance classics (though I do agree with the most recent reviewer that Tres Chic sounds the most dated of the three tracks now in 2020).

But for me, the original Ab Chic---not to be confused with the Acrid Abeyance mix, which is also great but in a darker, more acerbic way---is the highlight of this release. It's twisted, slippery, and yet delightfully pleasant acid trance, though it's also sort of melancholic and pensive. In fact, the track makes me imagine an acid/fractal-covered planet, where the landscape consists of rolling hills of psychedelic patterns in vibrant colors. I, for one, would love to traverse that acidic environment.

Metaphors aside, this is a slice of Noom history. But Ab Chic is a cut above the rest. Heck, it's not even from this planet; music this crazy can only be from an Acid Planet!

Tres Chic is an unforgettable classic from Noom. A fast-paced journey back to the eternal nights of raving with pounding 909 rhythms, vocal samples and 303 acid frequencies. Represents the typical 90's nightclub sound from Frankfurt. No Noom Records collection is complete without this.
