...arto lindsay & peter scherer (ambitious lovers) gave me the key to the
door of brasilian maestro caetano veloso, when producing this feverish
"comeback" with a healthy new york-touch, including guitarists bill frisell
& marc ribot. i listened through the whole body of work with 40 albums and
discovered many other masterpieces, specially the unbelievable "araca azul"
(72). from all the still living & performing singer/songwriters, spanning a
time of almost 40 years, caetano veloso is (besides daevid allen)
the most important for me...
