In the booklet, it's mentioned the lyrical idea for "Bränn Inte Slottet" is "from and old Swedish movie". This movie is most likely the comedy "The Apple War" (Swedish title: Äppelkriget), released in 1971, where there is a scene where the antagonist intends to burn down an old castle. People are gathering outside to protest and shout "Bränn Inte Slottet" (English: "Don't burn the castle"). This shouting is very similar to the "chants" heard on the song on this album.

Edited 2 years agoThe album cover art is full of 80's/early 90's metal album themes/symbols. Cirith Ungol chaos symbol, Crossfire (and probably hundreds of more bands skulls & castles), Gun barrel like Voivod, Slaughter skeleton with Meliah Rage headwear shooting the Blasphemy's Fallen Angel of Doom bow. Sodom/Sarcofago boots, Hades All seeing eye, Bathory bone necklace, impaled skulls on the back ground (Kreator Endless Pain) and trees (Norwegian black metal like DT, Carpathian Forest etc) and even gasmasks (Voivod to Impaled Nazarene), mechanical/skull looking arms like on the early 90s DM records, and the gate hole like on the 2nd Possessed album.
