Edited 3 years agoI love this album and I’m glad to have it but I really feel as though whoever did the pressing had something against 1D. My side A is chipped and had a large amount of dirt in the same area, leading me to believe it was dropped. Luckily, most of that dirt came off but there’s still some trapped in one of the grooves. There’s scratches, bad ringwear, and surface noise. I have several UO exclusive vinyls and none have ever looked like this upon arrival. :( -
The sound is pretty good and the gatefold is stunning. But this pressing is another example of the poorly made UO pressings... huge scratches, particles in the vinyl, off-centered labels, ring wear and so on...

Very impressed with the sound. The black one felt very muddled. This is a vast improvement. I think it's time we debunk the myth that black always sounds better. It has little to nothing to do with it. I've always been impressed with translucent colored pressings. -
There is visible wear on the gatefold and sleeves. I’m confused about that has happened since shipping was delayed many times (as per usual with UO, in my experience).
Much like my last UO pressing (the translucent blue version of made in the am) the a side sounds incredibly distorted despite no visible warping. the b side is better but still sounds slow compared to the completely normal c/d vinyl. -
