My 2022 repress sounds excellent. Great bass, fast fast fast banjo playing sounds impeccable. Play it on an MC cart if you can. Allison’s voice of course sounds amazing here, no sibilance or anything. Happy to have this one. It’ll be a demo record for female vocals when showing off my system.

Just a heads up that three copies of the recent repress had to be returned due to distortion on Disc 1, Side B. If you recently ordered and haven't listened to it yet, I would. Music Direct and Mofi are currently shipping out replacements, but you have to request it.

Update: My replacement copy plays perfectly.

Didn't know So Long so wrong was even on vinyl let alone being made by MoFi, surprised this is the only release with no reissue since 2004. Sounds amazing in it's all analogue glory like a Bluegrass album should be
