Actually listening for this for the first time now 2022 – ever. "Come Undone" still gets a lot of radioplay, at least used to, but we've lost some of the good radiostations on the net only -play, and I'm listening to THE radio while drivining. "Ordinary World" on the CD sounds not quite rite, rite? The drumsound especially sounds thin and weak. I'd say this album is versatile. Some of the songs, like "Drownig Man", "Shotgun" and "Breath After Breath" are quite interesting, even tho' "Shotgun" is a sawed-off.

On the other hand, then, "Love Voodoo" and "UMF" could loose at least a minute of them, and the song'd only get better. After "UMF" nothing but track 12 interests me. "Femme Fatale" and "None..." were just too boring after all, and the last song downrite dull. Maybe I had too much expectations, 'cuz this record is concidered to belong DD's elite repertoire. Sometimes I wonder if DD actually should be a proge band: who writes a song durating 7:15. I mean, if it's trance, I get it, but DD? What? Maybe all that is to be forgiven after they've written such a diamond as "Come Undone".

Tessa Niles ? I always thought it was Sandra on the backing vox on "Come Undone". Anyway, it's a brilliant album, their last best one. Duran Duran's hits from the Rio/Wolf period are mostly cool kitchy-catchy pop tunes. Here, you will find a good reason why they are sometimes called brilliant, or even beautiful. This album is like Physical Grafitti for Led Zep. - simply special. Check out the lovely singles if you have doubts - "CU" and "Ordinary World"; but hey, you already know them, don't you ?
