A bit of trivia on The Second Reason: it samples chunks from Underground Resistance's Amazon.Underground Resistance - World 2 World.
4 Hero would go on to officially remix Amazon almost ten years later on this release Underground Resistance - Millennium To Millennium.

Marc Mac from his instagram: 1992 such a big year for Reinforced and at the same time the SNES was just released in the UK, we were already playing the US and Jap versions anyway but 92 sticks out as it was also the year we started releasing Tom And Jerry records. The T&J releases also known as Shells were like a downtime project; about having fun, we made these records sometimes while playing game consoles, table tennis or pool. Never a long drawn out studio session, pure vibes. So shout out the the original R “snes disk copying posse” lol.

There are not many records from this era that I truly regret missing or pas, and not because they became in demand high dollar records either, but this is definitely one of them. This leads onto the second regret of not searching this out before prices became crazy.

I guess I can hold out hope for a repress or digital because I still have a bit of a brain block spending the kind of money this is going for when I was getting it new in the shop with freebies thrown in, lol. That's even if I could justify spending so much on it.

Apparently Mark did The One Reason & Dego did The Second Reason. Mark produced it in 20 minutes !

4 Hero's music is far ahead of any type of definition, no doubt about it.
On this single as Tom & Jerry, they proved once again why they are considered ground breaking electronic music artists.
"The One Reason" sampled marvellously the "Life Is Something Special" (1982) classical atmosphere by the New York Citi Peech Boys, a project conducted by Larry Levan, Michael De Benedictus and amazing male vocalist Bernard Fowler.
