Edited 7 months agoThe original CD is way too loud, is clipping and almost brickwalled, the original Deadwing CD is even worst, brickwalled as hell.
If you like that, fine. Even Steven Wilson itted it was no good, hence this one.
If you got a good hi-fi system, listen with headphones, then the difference is very good to hear.

Any comments about the overall sound? It's a recent album and I really don't find a remastering necessary. I'm afraid of Steven tinkering with the original, which had a superb sound already.
