Agree with Tangee, this a wicked EP! Sits well in that magical 'anything goes' era of winter/ spring 93 when the emerging Jungle sound mixed with the Hardcore so well. Not a weak tune on this!

So Ruff is a right groover with its dark pads, dubby basslines and early Jungle flavor, it goes well with other tunes from the time like Potential Badboy - Work The Box etc. We comin down so damn ruff on the dancefloor!

Rhythm Ryder is a great crossover tune between light and dark elements. It´s well structured with jungly beats, rasta vocals, dark pads and uplifting female vocals. Not a dull moment here, the arrangement keeps you on your toes throughout and there´s always something new being introduced without it being unnatural or sounding too packed. Great tune!

Bun And Cheese is pretty much in the same vein as So Ruff just more laid back in it´s overall approach. The heavy subs, downpitched breaks, organs, slow rasta vocal and overall pummeling feel give it an even junglier feel. 'We come with the ruffneck sound, come giddy up, come jump around!' They must´ve been on some new improved shit over there at Redskins!

Bruce Bonus is So Ruff in a stripped down stylee, at least it shares the same 'on the dancefloor' sample, but has not much more in common with it really. That raggamuffin soundclash sample is tuff!

Big ups Neil Redskin for this EP, it gives a good foresight of what´s later to come on Redskins: Pure ruffneck poisonous Jungle!
