ABBA – Voyage

New vinyl also needs to be cleaned, but this one needs cleaning twice, on my copy at least.

The worst ‘new’ pressing I’ve ever owned - without exaggeration! The record was covered in dust and fingerprints(!) and has more crackles than a frying pan. The record was bought as new, sealed with hype sticker, but I’ve got cheap 30+ year old charity shop finds with better clarity. After a proper clean it sounds better, but still not what I'd have expected from a band of ABBAs stature.

However, It is brilliant to have new ABBA music and I'm thrilled with the album itself. Don't Shut Me Down really wouldn't sound out of place on ABBA Gold. Just a shame they showed no quality control over their actual pressing.

Worst album ever made without Michael B Tretow to make this album a hit. Lousy tracks and poorly produced music. Not the expected quality. They were about 20 years too late !
Compared to the previous albums, this is just a piece of crap. And this from a die hard fan. Very disappointed. Will never be accepted in my records collection. Doesn't qualify at all !

The music of new album is cool. The quality is terrible. The record was already awful when I unpacked it and played at the first time. Do you know how much does it cost in Russia? It is 50-75€! I bought it for 75€ and got awful record! I’m so disappointed.

ABBA’s self titled album was one of the first records I got when I was a kid and they were the first band that I really liked. I was happy to see them put out a new album after 40 years and just as happy to add Voyage to my collection. I had no issues with my copy. Play through was near perfect and I appreciated the few little “Easter eggs” the band put in the album for the die hard fans!
As always and forever; Thank you for the music ABBA!

A few tracks have distortion, especially when it crescendos (like halfway into Bumblebee). Thought I had blown a speaker even though the volume wasn't even turned up even halfway.

This was a far stronger reunion album than I was expecting, a few tracks (Keep an Eye On Dan and When You Danced With Me in particular) now rank with my favourites by them

I am so happy that ABBA put out a new album after 40 years. I see some people have had some issues regarding the quality of this albums recording. I'm happy to say in my case I have no such complaints. However you've got to have the volume up and a nice set of speakers to fully enjoy Voyage. I just want to mention that this record is a masterpiece in my opinion. There is no his no crackling and no poping sounds. Just the glorious voices and sounds of ABBA.

Awful sounding new black vinyl. Sounds like overused tape, but with clicks. Just such disrespection from anyone who allowed this to a market. If I saw that person I don’t hesitate to spit at him, as they did with us virtually.

I've seen a lot of bad reviews considering audio quality, mine however is perfect, no hissing no distortion, super clean and well balanced sound
