Lots and lots of bass here, as I would hope for an album like this. Unfortunately, there's a lot of quiet crackling throughout. There aren't many quiet moments on this album though, so it's not very apparent and didn't bother me too much. Still not ideal for a brand new pressing.

Somehow they accidentally applied an extra label on each side though?? My copy literally has an additional label layered on top of the first one, partially peeling off on both sides A and B. I doubt there was much QA involved in this pressing at all lmao. They must have been cranking I've Seen Footage in the pressing plant LOUD.

I think this pressing is really good! I don't feel like talking about my set up but my set up is above average and i don't have much to complain about the quality of this pressing. Pops in one song only and audio is as expected from a vinyl.

Seems like the QC with this pressing is wonky based on everyone else, luckily I was fortunate to get a good press. I don't have any other pressings for reference, but System Blower in particular is crystal clear and blew me away. The other songs sound wonderful too.

I'd probably recommend getting a more consistent release though. It's just not worth the risk if the 2015 press is available to you.

For a new record this is kinda horrible QC. Super quiet, can hardly hear the drums (which is like half the fun of DG), weird residue on the A side for me which makes weird popping noises, especially audible in The Fever, which again I can hardly hear the drums in. That being said, the vinyl looks super cool with the black and white split so I'll probably keep it just for that but I'm disappointed.

Like most people have been saying, this pressing is sub-par. For lack of audio-related vocabulary, I'd describe this pressing as sounding incredibly detuned. There is a distinct lack of a low-end, as most people have pointed out. I feel like listening to this pressing is like listening to it on a very old VHS tape, if that makes any sense. The black/white split of the disc is at least appealing. It is not an exactly perfect split--I don't think such a thing is possible given how vinyl pressing works--so some parts of the split look like they are melting into each other which makes for a cool effect.

The vinyl despite being new came out of the sleeve with scratches and smudges all over both sides, disappointed and trying to get a replacement copy :/

Record quality is as others have said, quite terrible. Vinyl has some noticeable no fill spots, comes out of the sleeve dirty. Mastering has very little low end, which really hurts the overall sound of this wonderful album.

Brilliant album but my inner sleeve was creased so much. The record itself is also in terrible condition, sounds fine (low on the bass) but it’s so scratched and dirty. Kinda disappointed but at least I have this on vinyl.

sounds awful for me. no low end, surface noise worse than some 50 year old used records i've bought. warping is so bad the needle moves almost half a centimeter or so on the first track.

Sounds decent and is a pretty good split (only a small smudge). The only thing is that mine was quite warped on the white side. Obvious room for improvement, but I’m just happy to have it.

imo, if you want a better sounding/quality one, try for a black pressing. I think it sounds MUCH better than this one
