On a kick with reviewing some releases outside of early 90s English Jungle, so what better Dub album to review than the mighty Scientist's, 'Dub In The Roots Tradition'. Pure 'Easy Like Sunday Morning', lazy, mellow, sonic crippling and downright amazing Dub with every single track on this release. Scientist has a style all to his own, and on a good portion of these selections he seems to traverse a darker and more sinister take on the version, from what we're use to hearing from him. Extremely versatile and prolific, Scientist is a master of the Dub Craft, and if you ever come across a copy of this album, do yourself a favor and pick it up. I have hundreds upon hundreds of Dub cuts, but this record always seems to find its way back on my system getting pumped to the maximum... Not really, that would bust my bassbin, but figuratively, yes it's at its max!
