This is an excellent sounding pressing. It does not feature a flat EQ but it is a very enjoyable listening experience. The bass is pretty deep and boomy but can be dialed back using your receiver's dial. Mids and treble are present... instrumentation is evenly distributed ing SRV's vocals and guitar playing. That's what is nice about this, it sounds like a band, not SRV and ing cast.

When I found this record at the Salvation Army 10 years ago for 49 cents, I thought "wow, nice!" Listening to it today, I'm still Impressed with the depth of this recording. It's no wonder copies start at $30 for this version. SRV and Double Trouble at their finest.
