Pressing sounds flat and distant. Not immersive and does not adequately distinguish between different elements of the mix. Have tested against other records with identical setup and gotten very good results from those pressings. -

A lot of these reviews are expressing problems with the pressing when in reality it sounds like problems with people's turntables. This is a great pressing and I have no concerns with its quality. -
Mayer is a pure talent. This record is well produced and gives him room to grow. The pressing is A+ the tracks are spread across 2 discs which lets the stylus rest in the groove nicely. Highly recommended! -
Quite disappointed with this pressing. Muddied and a lot of surface noise. A/B also has a sharp edge where a chunk of the edge of the run in is missing. Have the MOV pressing also and definitely and prefer that one.

Edited 2 years agoMastering is dang good, but both copies I've purchased have had a ton of surface noise (to the point of distraction) even after two trips on my record vacuum. Five star tunes on three star vinyl. -

Superb Pressing and easily one of my favourites in my collection. The sonic quality is excellent.

This is honestly one of my favorite records in my collection. It's such a great album and this pressing is excellent - whisper quiet and just sounds so good on vinyl.
