This and Volume Beta were the first CDs I ever got, excluding the Collector's Edition soundtrack to Undertale, which came as part of the game's collector's edition box set. Another absolutely nostalgic album. Favorite songs: "Dog", "Minecraft", "Moog City"

A true ambient experience, no doubt about it. SAW 2 and Music for Airports are smoking in the background.

decided to get this instead of the record because so much was cut to make it a single LP, including some very important songs. I am happy with my decision and don't bother with scalping prices, keep an eye out on juno because they had both of these for like 8 and 20 bucks. regarding the audio it kind of gets distorted at times and blows out the speakers a little but besides that it's great

Minecraft's OST always reminded me of the Fez OST (even though Fez came out after) in the way that it is very ambient and you can put it on in the background and it is not very distracting. Glad to have this, although I prefer the Fez OST alot more. (Wating for a CD release for the Fez OST to come out. The closest thing you can get to that is the Hyper Light Drifter OST, which was released on CD, and it's really good, but I don't have that.)

Edited 2 years agoFor both Minecraft albums, CD is the definitive way to experience it since the vinyl releases cut out a lot of tracks. It's a shame they didn't release the full album on vinyl but I'm satisfied with this.
