Both of these songs are on the UK release of BEATLES FOR SALE, but when Capitol bastardized that album and created the (still great) BEATLES '65, they dropped these from the track list and slapped them on a single. My copy has a bit of edgewarp that causes skips for the first 12-15 seconds of each song. Otherwise, light surface noise and no other skips.

I have 45-X-45147-P1 with a faint "#7" etched after that/45-45150-T2, with a faint "#5" etched after that. How many variants are out there?

I have a variant runout;
Matrix / Runout: etch (side A) 45-X45147 P3P
Matrix / Runout: etch (side B) 45-x45150 P5P -
One of the weaker Beatles' singles. The guitar fanfare beginning 'Eight Days a Week' is glorious in its way, but the pop following is curiously uninspired. 'I Don't Want to Spoil the Party' is pleasant enough, if you can ignore all of the self-pity. Before I catch flak from Beatles' fanatics, I should note that a 'weak' Beatle single is preferable to most band's better selections.
