This album is as good, if not better, than any of Doom's previous albums. And that means a lot given the high quality of his work. The album maintains a really high standard throughout, with some amazingly inventive tracks. Standout tracks are perhaps the explosive "Gazzillion Ear" (sampling J Dilla), the astro-sounding "Absolutely", which details the intelligence and subtlety of his lyrical prowess (a Madlib production), and the relentlessly pumping comedic track "Microwave Mayo".
Lyrically the album is light years ahead of most hip-hop artists and he really sets the bar here in "Microwave Mayo": "His own way was strange but it matters not, tuned into a frequency tone that shattered rock, Hold it down like Shatner do Spock, rapper-jocks need to put a sock in their chatterbox, The block got line of VIAC stock, Folks gather 'round there's no joke like knock, knock".
Highly recommended for Hip-Hop lovers and aficionados, Doom fans and anyone who appreciates a great artist at the peak of his powers!
