Sven Wunder – Snowdrops

I honestly think all of Sven's releases are amazing. So well arranged and recorded, all the artwork and pressings are great. Can't wait to hear what he puts out next.

This little treasure is really incredible in all aspects, as we are already used to from Piano Piano’s output. Again, the cover presents beautyfully handcrafted art and is done in the good ol‘ italian library manner, with a fancy font ing Daniela Casa’s Vernissage 1 (Musica Contemporanea Per L'Arte Moderna) on Panda and some others.

But the biggest surprise about it is the music. One would not expect how much goodness can be emitted out of one little 7“ record! It really feels like there could not be a better timing for the release…

This time I associate these sounds more with exotic and gentle recordings, such as Sven Wunder's pen, by now. Compositions that are meant to be here for the next few hundred years, if not forever. Go and get yourself a copy! It's vaccine for the soul...

That sold out faster than any vinyl I've ever wanted. Guess I'll have to be screwed on the price :(
