Edited 11 months agoFor those interested in weird skip on "Caught in a Mosh".
The pressing without it exists.
It is Specialty one.
Unlike all Specialty and Allied issues that I've seen it has matte labels but not glossy.
Unlike all SRC pressings that I owned it has no EAST embossed on side 2.
And it is on Quiex-type translucent wax with mixed amber/grey colour.
Never seen before.

The perfect thrash album! Production, riffs, guitar/bass tone, groove, attitude. Everything really came together for Anthrax on this album. Truth be told, Among the Living is probably the only album from them that still holds my interest as a whole. Persistence of Time comes as a close second, but it can't touch this. I'm happy to own a NM/NM first US pressing of this gem.

What an awesome album. So powerful and full of great Anthrax songs. So glad to have this in my collection.

Someone let me know if they have just a spare sleeve for it lying around. Mine got coffee spilt all over it! Ugh!
-
Anyone else have a skip in the first chorus of "Caught in a Mosh"? Just received a visually/audibly NM copy with this skip and can't find the offending scratch/dirt for the life of me.
-
Anyone notice on the 1st CD pressing 7 90584-2 "One World" is like 3 times louder than the rest of the CD.

Edited 2 years agoWe need a 180G opague yellow repress of this. No more of this AlternaDad pic disc crap with new goofy artwork. NOT!!!
-
This desperately needs a reissue. Found mine at a local flea market, it feels pretty lightweight and there's some noise from the scratches but once the volume is pumped it sounds insanely good

Edited 3 years agoStill waiting for a RM LP or CD of this (their best album) that's affordable, like the Spreading The Disease triple CD. I got the RM vinyl on FLAC with all the bonus stuff, I could be content with this, but I hate not owning this album anymore, I sold my old CD as I just want to own it the way it sounds on the RM of the vinyl sound like(high quality vinyl rip) or even just the RM CD. I'd content myself with it, the one that comes with a DVD,DVD but almost nobody who sells it for a reasonable price will ship to Canada for some reason, only 2 people will and it's 71 dollars minimum for a freakin' CD from 2009. The Japanese RM SHM's are ridiculously expensive and only one is worth it, the first one doesn't have the extra tracks like the vinyl pressings.

Edited 3 years agoThere is a new 2021 pressing with a different cover. It has the current man replaced with the Not Man and released by Z2 Comics with the Anthrax graphic novel. Not sure who officially pressed it. d as picture disc inside.
