I when this album came out. Bought it on CD immediately. I also seeing the record displayed at Tower Records. I had given up on vinyl at that point. And the cassette? Forget it.
Top 5 album for me. Aftter all these years, a buddy told me about how fantastic the cassette sounds. Just bought one. Can’t wait to hear it, and compare to CD.

update: I had an opportunity to listen to the cassette. Immediately much lower output compared to the CD. In my system i have a higher end Harman deck from the 90’s. Output is not as powerful as a denon I have, but that deck is put away.
So I’ll just talk about the SQ. It’s a cassette. For a cassette it sounds fantastic. If you don’t like the sound of sometimes too clean and crisp CD’s, the cassette will round everything out and make it more natural/warm sounding.
However don’t go into buying a cassette and expecting it to blow your shoes off. You need a good deck, and amp for it to compete.

Other than that, it’s my favorite album from one of my top 3 bands.

They’re getting harder to find. And the price is reflecting that.

The next 711 I rob, I’m buying the record.

This is the best sounding version of the album like mentioned before. Beats any vinyl bootleg by far.

Worth every penny. The best sounding version of this album. Skip the bootleg vinyl and pay up for the official tape. If its in good shape you will not regret it.
