DMM pressed. This has all the positives of DMM and none of the negatives. Nice soundstage, with nice Bass bottom and great mid range. So few know about this version or it would surely cost more. Get it at this price while you can.

Amazing R.E.M. album with amazing sonics. One of the best sounding LPs in my stash, with astonishing clarity & space. There's a drum-hit in 'Disturbance At the Heron House' that's a real stereo-test for deep-bass speed. Beautifully mastered at MASTERDISK & pressed on whisper-quiet translucent-brown Quiex vinyl.

Edited 3 years agoAnd I thought "Fables" sounded amazing. This pressing of Document sounds beautiful. I've known this recording since it came out, every note every word, but now I can hear all of this much more distinctly. Excellent.

This pressing is unbelievable. I got a new mid-range setup in my room, which I've played a few other records on first, and they sounded good... Until I put this on, and oh my, it gave some of my other records a run for their money.
This album is amazing, but this pressing truly does it justice. It's so clear, crisp, and combining every instrument all into a vibrant sound that is unmatched by even some modern self-proclaimed "audiophile" pressings.
If you're a fan of R.E.M, and of this album, grab this. You will not regret it. -
Gorgeous pressing. Really great and highly defined sound. The best pressing of this album I've heard.
