The Funk Hits the Fan is dull to be perfectly honest. Its nowhere near as good as previous Plump DJs material. But this 12" is worth buying just for The Gate. Lots of acid lines and the usual heavy breakbeats. It goes on for about 8 mins + and I am disappointed when it ends. The Plump DJs are without doubt the best thing in the breaks scene and two of the best remixers, producers and DJs the UK has produced in recent years.
