It’s honestly doesn’t sound that bad for a pic disc. Love the pics of Gaga in each side. CHROMATICA is such an amazing album!

I get it, it's a picture disk, but yeah.. it doesn't sound that good. Some songs sound better than others, but for the most part this is not a great pressing.

Almost no background noise and sounds surprisingly good, actually better than some of the regular vinyls that I own. Only minus is that PVC sleeve.

lady gaga is a mystery to me. compliment given--she has a real, untouched amazing singing voice..shes proven it many times,on stage, film, and live duets...its her choice of material that just lacks-it doesnt play to her strengths.maybe doing it to get on the radio is the is the goal, but why sound like the rest...especially when the current state of radio lacks any clear style, and can lack a pulse. when all the dance tracks sound alike, and the so-called hip hop is mumbling to laptop beats...i'd be calling up some top notch vocalists, and producers and do what all the others can't--showcase the best asset, the voice. for years her pop music, and her style come off as half realized compared to her surrendering her "edge" and being the great singer she is. because is 2021,pop music radio is dead...its gone to the image mongers...she needs to go with what she really has got;we all know she has transcended the pop genre.so why go back?

I'm quite surprised about the sound quality and mastering. This one isn't a bad picture disc at all!
I've recorded a few tracks and sent them over to a friend to compare it with the CD version (He's an audio technician) and he was really surprised how the dynamics are much better handled. I'd assume, that the mastering was the same for all vinyl releases.

That being said, my needle on my Technics SL-5, despite doing all i can, does seem to cause some harsh highs on certain tracks. It doesn't distort them at least, but they are not clean.
From what i've heard on my Youtube, that might be really just my setup.

I was hesitating whether to buy the picture disc or one of the other coloured versions. But since i don't have much picture discs at all and never had a *bad* experience with them + the artwork is better, i went with it.
Yes, there is more surface noise, but the album is loud enough overall and quieter parts don't suffer from it, either.

High-Class Audiophiles can go with the standard versions, everyone else might be actually better of with this one, because you get at least some kind of artwork.

I just received it, and I wasn't expecting a lot of this since its a picture disc, but it sounds soooo good. The only thing that kinda disappointed me is the plastic sleeve (that is the same in the milky vinyl). It makes it look cheaper

Lady Gaga just looks so good and stylish on the front of this picture disc, that also has a surprisingly good sound quality, in my opinion. However, my mam has told me that, if Lady Gaga ever comes around to our house for dinner, of spicy meatballs, then she would have to take off those big shoes and leave them by the front door, so as to ensure the heels do not leave marks on the nice new wooden floor, that we have had put in the hallway. I hope that this does happen, as I will ask to go to the toliet, halfway through dinner, and then secretly sniff them!!

Agree with opinions that this was fairly low-effort for a Gaga vinyl. The transparent sleeve for The Fame Monster picture disc at least included a fold-over top with a strap to tuck it into. Chromatica is short, but I'm still surprised that this album wasn't spread over two discs. (I really appreciated that the longer Special Edition of Born This Way was the only Vinyl pressing and wonder if we will eventually get Chromatica IV added as a deluxe edition.) My record arrived noticeably warped but still plays fine.

I think its just unfortunate that we got the best club songs ever at a time when all clubs were shot down

Sounds like your usual picture disc, a little muffled compared to the other variants, but not bad at all. As for design, this is probably your best option if you’d like to own a piece of the album visuals, but that’s not saying much as all the other vinyl editions are shockingly lazy.
