From a production standpoint this is probably a pinnacle record. Akin probably to Sargeant Peppers or the Studio One output in importance for showing possibilities of the studio and mixing board as instrument and vehicle for creation and production. As an album you are supposed to listen to and enjoy it's not without its problems. Maybe if it's on random it won't be bad.
