Being a Broadcast fan from the beginning, I own "Work And Non Work" since 1997 and saw them playing live in Reading in 1997 too. But I never owned a copy of "The Book Lovers EP" since then... I finally bought it as a collector "must have", and how surprised was I when I played it for the first time on my turntable : it sounds incredibly big ! So much bigger than on "Work And Non Work" which however is one of the greatest records ever... I can only advice you, Broadcast fan, to try and get a copy as soon as you can !
