I don’t know if the new OBI strip version counts as new release, but I’ll leave my review here: it sounds amazing, I’ve owned 3 different copies of this variant (different pressing batches) in total and this is the cleanest sounding and least warped of the bunch. Would highly recommend!

Surprisingly sounds so good! The original deluxe heavyweight is far superior, but I was SHOCKED by how good this actually sounds even though it's thin & feels cheap. The his are really prominent vs the fuller scope of the heavyweight
-
Amazing it’s just my old record player that made it sound bad but I feel like Lana would love the pops and andcrackw

Edited 11 months agoRecord sounds good, but not great. Doesn’t have much depth and range that I usually like when playing vinyl to make me feel like the artist is in the room. However, it’s quiet and has no pops/static so can’t complain too much. Perfect album to play during these hot summer months.

I have access to two copies and started adding runouts to this release.
Runouts are the only differences I can see between the copies.
Variant 1 has audio artifacts. honestly, its audible, but for the casual listener, it is just fine.
Variant 2 dramatically diminished audio artifacts. Definitely the better of the two and the one i prefer.

A side is very quiet. However, B side has crackling and a few pops throughout Dark Paradise and Radio, even after cleaning twice.

Reading the reviews, seems like the first pressings were bad, but I just picked up a copy and it is very quiet. The color is gorgeous.
