incredible music of course, and sonically (recording and pressing) a total eargasm. As good as it gets!
-
Simply amazing. Awesome. Even after so many years thia music sounds fresh. My copy is just super and I am in love with this gem.
-
An amazing album, thanks a lot to these artists. This album is a pure joy and we need this kind of album in these times!

Edited 3 years agoMahavishnu John McLaughlin on ECM Records; something not expected from the more rock and roll camp of contemporary jazz. McLaughlin is more subtle and puts himself in humility which suits Zakir Hussain's musical atmosphere appropriately. An ineffective bandleader by most s, but an effective sideman which he upholds since his days of playing sessions for pop music, in spite of his colourful and technical guitar prowess that we all came to love.

Having bought this on the year of release and three decades later this album has lost none of it’s magic.
This is very special piece of music played to perfection. -
This is a stunning line up of sublime musicians. There are a few marks on my copy - but it plays beautifully.
